Another week passed and daily I am surprised how many me-made items there are in my wardrobe! Somehow I was always MAKING things without a plan HOW to wear them. Know what I mean? For example I made a skirt or some trousers but didn’t think about a matching top.

The first week of MMMay ’14 is already over and even with a cold I managed to wear at least one me-made item everyday! YAY!

[Refashion] Plain to Fave Dress

Voriges Jahr habe ich mir in London dieses einfache, schwarze, kurzärmelige Kleid gekauft. Eigentlich, weil ich ein ganz einfaches, schwarzes, kurzärmeliges Kleid wollte, aber das Ende vom Lied war, dass ich es nie getragen habe, weil es eben so einfach und so schwarz war (wie der Großteil meiner Garderobe… hrmmmm.)

Also habe ich mir statt Abendessen Gedanken gemacht und es kurzerhand mit einem halben Peter Pan (oder wie wir sagen: Bubi-) Kragen und zwei Knöpfen aufgemotzt. Und das ist das Ergebnis.

Last year I got this plain black dress above because I thought I need another plain black dress but well…, I hardly wore it because it was so plain and black *blush* and so I breathed new life into it with a little refashion, look:

Sobald ich Zeit finde, die Anleitung dafür zu verfassen (hab sogar schon angefangen… oha!), werde ich sie nachreichen.

I am going to share how to do this yourself but it will take me a bit – especially on hot summer days 😉
