Me Made May 2015, I am in!

Me Made May ’15

I, Jasmin, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’15. I endeavour to wear at least one me-made or refashioned gament each day for the duration of May 2015!

After I had a lot of fun with Me Made May last year, I decided to take part again. My personal challenge is (still) to add more colour to my mostly black wardrobe but you may see, so far the only other colour I managed to add is (off-)white… LOL! Continue reading

Blue Linen Apron Dress

Leichtes blaues Leinenkleid

Way back in July I made this awesome Linen Dress that I couldn’t get out all over the rest of summer. Unfortunately now it’s a tad too cold, I should have a look around for a decent matching cardigan or even make one myself. I’ve never made a cardigan, that would be a goal for chilly but still mild autumn days to come. Continue reading

Me-Made-May ’14 Round-Up

I made it! Even if I missed blogging about the last two roundups in time: Me-Made-May’14, a project initiated by Zoe. As to my pledge I wore primarily me-made clothing and or accessories each day of May 2014. I also found out a lot about my wardrobe needs and even managed to fill some gaps already. What I didn’t do was taking my everyday picture but at least I wore an already documented garment on these days or smuggled in an older pic😉 Continue reading

Rosa Amigurumi, Variation Betty, eBook Add-on

Bestest friends: Rosa the Modgirl and Betty Blue

Those of you who already bought the eBook from my ravelry or etsy store may wait for some variations I promised to post on my blog. And here you go with the first of them: Meet Rosa’s friend Betty, herself in love with the sixties, bows and up-dos.  Continue reading

Pattern Frenzy: Burdastyle’s Lydia Top

Pattern Frenzy: Lydia Top BurdaStyle

First top I made based on Lydia by BurdaStyle; I added a half Peter Pan collar.

I am known for sticking to one pattern when I found one I really like. That’s exactely the case with Burdastyle’s Lydia Top! It is a quick sew, don’t need a lot of attention and I didn’t need to juggle with the often weird sizes of Burda’s. I just cut the pattern out in my size, shortened it in the middle section because I need to do this with every pattern and tadaaa… it fitted right away! Continue reading

About Personality

To be beautiful one must be unhurried. Personality is needed. There is too much sameness. The world seems to have only a desire for more of this sameness. To be different is to be alone. I do not like what is average. So I am alone. – Luisa Casati
